The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is a provincial government department responsible for road infrastructure, transportation systems, and building maintenance within South Africa's Gauteng province.
Requirements :
- NQF level 1 or (Abet level 4 certificate or equivalent). No working experience is required.
Duties :
- Clean kitchen utensils and equipment. Provide catering support services. Keep stock of kitchen utensils and equipment. Apply hygiene and safety measures.
- Serve refreshments to HOD and to HOD’s visitors. Maintain the stock register.
- Ensure prior knowledge of the HOD’s meetings so that proper preparations are made. Maintain quality control measures of all food provided. Removal of garbage disposal.
- Prepare food, snacks and beverages (water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and cold drinks). Set up and convey crockery, cutlery and equipment to dining areas. Serve food and beverages.
- Responsible for food supplies and report waste and losses.
