Job Description

  • To implement and monitor the IT risk management programme across business units, ensuring alignment with Group IT risk governance. The role involves designing risk programmes that comply with relevant legislation and supporting business strategy through effective risk mitigation.

Are you someone who can:

Risk Management & Governance:

  • Develop and implement IT risk frameworks and programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, integrity, and ethics policies.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and legislative changes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strategic relationships to support innovative risk solutions.
  • Communicate policy changes and progress on objectives.

Financial Oversight:

  • Plan and manage expenditure within approved budgets.
  • Align budgets with tactical delivery plans.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Provide integrated business reports and insights.
  • Identify trends and inconsistencies for decision-making.

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Translate business strategy into operational execution.
  • Participate in group risk forums and cascade relevant information.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Manage audit findings and promote risk awareness.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of local and global trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Auditing, or a related field (required).
  • Postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, CISSP) is highly advantageous

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
  • At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a financial services or tech-driven environment
