The South African Police Service (SAPS) is the national police force of the Republic of South Africa.
Core Functions: –
- Investigate and assist with all backlog case dockets and inquest dockets older than 2 years on all related cases as directed by the management. Facilitate and coordinate the down management of cases.
- Utilise a multi-disciplinary approach with regard to the field and scope of responsibility. Gather and analyse evidence through specialised techniques. Give evidence and attend to course proceedings.
- Ensure continuous updating of CAS system. Developing an investigation plan for each investigation. Preparing case dockets and enquiries for inspection in accordance with the prescripts.
- Submit progress reports on all investigations. Ensure effective and efficient utilisation of allocated human, physical and financial resources.
