Job Purpose
- To execute regulated and quality standard audits and provide general assistance to the division in executing their responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving our internal standards, ensure compliance with applicable standards and supporting organisational excellence.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Public Administration, Quality Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and/or Project Management with 5 – 7 years’ experience in a planning, quality standards assessment and audits, Project Management or process improvement role within a Business Standards environment, of which 2 – 3 years at a knowledge worker level.

- Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or matric with 10 years’ experience in a planning, operational analysis, process improvement, Project Management and/or standards analysis and implementation role within a Business Standards environment, of which 5 years at a knowledge worker level

- Compare operational performance with principles, theory and policy in area of specialisation, identify problems and provide solutions.
- Conduct research to investigate areas of concern to resolve problems and identify new solutions.
- Deploy technical and or commercial knowledge and experience to identify and resolve problems and define organisational solutions.
- Identify and recommend improvements on policies, processes, SOPs, governance and delivery systems.
- Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities.
- Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks.
- Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in area of specialisation.
- Correctly apply policies, practices, standards, procedures and legislation in the delivery of work outputs.
- Draw on own knowledge and experience to diagnose symptoms, causes and possible effects in order to solve emerging problems.
- Initiate process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a result of the change.
- Plan for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.
- Provide specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process, product and risk optimisation.
